Bome County, meaning "ancestor" in Tibetan language, is located at the junction of Mt. Nyainqentanglha and Himalayas in southeastern China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), 636 kilometers away from Lhasa, capital city of Tibet, and 279 kilometers to the Nyingchi Airport.
When autumn comes, maple leaves in the county gradually turns bright red, offering a feast for eyes.
