Opening Ceremony Held for Tibet Festival
The opening ceremony of the 9th Qomolangma Culture and Tourism Festival is held in Shigatse prefecture, Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region on Aug 26, 2011. The festival, part of the celebration for the 90th anniversary of the founding of Chinese Communist Party and the 60th anniversary of peaceful liberation of Tibet autonomous region, will continue until Sept 1.
