Currently, traditional Tibetan food such as chemar (a box containing Tsampa) and Zanba (roasted highland barley flour) are popular among people in Tibet Autonomous Region while they are celebrating the Spring Festival while preparing for Tibetan New Year which falls in early March this year.
"The market is hot and our Zanba cann't meet the demand of our consumers. My factory has developed fast but our products are still out of stock sometimes during the festival," said Norbu Tenzin, manager of the largest Zanba processing factory in Tibet.
