TMR General Hospital offers free treatments to over 40 blind children

More than 40 blind children received free examinations by doctors from General Hospital of Tibet Military Region (TMR) in the Training Center for Blind People in Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) on August 16, 2010.

Before treatment, doctors took photos for each child and helped to register for free medical cards of the hospital.

"When anyone of the children falls ill, they can receive free treatments including diagnosis, medicine, surgery, hospitalization and even meals during the hospitalization," said Li Suzhi, president of the TMR General Hospital.
