Youngest summiteer Jordan Romero returned to capital Kathmandu after conquering Mt. Qomolangma along with his family.

The 13-year-old from the United States cimbed the world's highest Mt. Qomolangma on May 22 from China's Tibet.

"At the top of the mountain I could not believe it, it was very windy and it was only patience that pushed us to the top," Romero said at a press conference here on Thursday.

He added: "Once you set your mind to anything, that will be possible, and by doing this, I set an example of it."

Romero now becomes the world's youngest climber of Mt. Qomolangma, breaking the record of Nepali climber Temba Tshering Sherpa, who reached top of the peak at the age of 16.

The American had climbed five highest mountains of continents already while Mt. Qomolangma is his sixth summit, and he is yet to summit Mt. Vinson in Antarctica to complete his dream of climbing seven highest Mountains of seven continents.
