Charles Dutoit, a Swiss conductor, expressed his wish to travel China's Tibet for the third time.

Particularly noted for his interpretations of French and Russian 20th century music, Charles Dutoit is now leading the famous Philadelphia Orchestra in Beijing.

Charles Dutoit said he has visited Tibet twice, and was desirous to "travel again by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway so as to enjoy the wonderful landscapes along the sky road".

He visited China in 1982 for the first time.
