To date, Tibet has set up 12 investigation groups of intangible cultural heritage, visiting more than 10,000 folk artists.

In order to better protect and pass down the intangible cultural heritage of Tibet, the region has set up many organizations and investigation groups of region, city and county levels.

Moreover, a leading group, a committee of experts and 12 investigation groups responsible for work in Tibet were set up one by one in recent years, yielding agreeable achievements.
