Tibetans from needy families in urban and rural areas of Lhasa are having training lesson, photo from CTIC.

A free training course about leather production co-sponsored by TAR Women's Federation, Tibet Handicraft Development Center and Lhasa Women's Federation was held in Lhasa on May 7th with more than 20 Tibetans from needy families attending.

The contents, teachers, teaching materials and training time of the course have been carefully designed and well prepared about more than one month to help the trainees learn the leather producing skills and increase their income.

At the same time, all the costs of room and board will be sponsored by TAR Women's Federation and the trainees are expected to complete all the courses till May 22.
