307 Tibetan cleft lip children benefit from 'Smile Train'
Since start-up of the activity of "Smile Train" in 2001, 307 cleft lip children from needy Tibetan families have received free operations.
"Smile Train" is a project launched by Cleft Lip Medical Charity Institution in America and China Charity Federation to give free operations to needy patients from six months to 40 years old.
Sufferers can apply for the free operation with certificates for poverty issued by local government and after passing the check, proposers can register to book the operation at Tibet People's Hospital with recommendation letter offered by local civil administration department.
Pasang, a four-year-old sufferer has just got the recommendation letter and will receive free operation at Tibet People's Hospital.
