A blueprint of luxury train of Qinghai-Tibet Railway appeared in a Chinese communication forum held on Saturday.

Sun Yongfu, undersecretary of China Railway Ministry gave a report on Qinghai-Tibet Railway operation on the forum and said that, a joint-venture Tanggula Tourism Train Company was set up with international cooperation to make the railway run well.

Luxury train from Xining to Lhasa is to be launched next July 1, sources from China News Service. Tourists taking the luxury train can make full view at 6 sight stations along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

Till the end of August, 366 trains ran along Qinghai-Tibet Railway, carrying 273,000 tourists. In addition, a total of 160,000 tons cargo was transported into Tibet by the plateau railway.
