Jokhang Temple changes prayer flags to welcome Losar
To welcome the approaching of Losar (Tibetan New Year), workers of the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet, replaced the prayer flags on the five, 20-meter high poles surrounding the temple on February 8. Buddhist devotees write their blessings on the prayer flags and hang them on the poles to express their wishes for the New Year.
