Free operations for Tibetan children with cleft lip and palate
Photo taken on May 4, 2014 shows volunteer doctors organized by the "Operation Smile of China" are carrying out free operations for 12 children who suffer from cleft lip and palate in the Armed Police Force Hospital of Tibet Border, Nagchu Prefecture of Tibet. It is the first time for those volunteers to come to Tibet. The "Operation Smile of China", first launched in 1990, is a philanthropic activity providing free treatment for children with cleft lip and palate who are raised in poor families.
