Upon International Women's Day 2014 and the Wood Horse Losar of Tibet, an awarding ceremony was held by Women's Federation of Tibet to commemorate the 104th anniversary of International Women's Day, People.cn reported.

At the ceremony altogether 37 individuals were awarded "women pace-setter" while 15 institutions took the pace-setting organizations award.

They epitomize the perseverance and intelligence of Tibetan women as a whole who work in various fields of social construction, law enforcement, political consultation, security check, media, etc.
