Tibetan children back home after medical treatment in Anhui
Nine children from Tibet’s Lhoka Prefecture left for hometown after receiving careful treatment for congenial heart disease for over 10 days at a hospital in Anhui Province on Nov 15.
Anhui Provincial Children’s Hospital takes the responsibility of the treatment of children suffering from early age congenital heart disease.

Jin Yulian, director the hospital, told that five children undergoing Cardiac Interventional Therapy here had completely recovered and another one receiving Open Chest Surgery was recovering well and was expected to go back home next week. "After returning home, those children will need 3 months to rest and recover before living a normal life as other children" said Jin Yulian.
It was little patient Losang Lozing’s 4th birthday on 15th . Accompanied by healthcare staff, the little girl blew out birthday candles for the first time. Although it would take two days by train to return home, she could not wait to bring the good news of her recovery to her grandmother. "I hope to let grandma know as soon as possible to ease her worry" Lozeng said in Tibetan language.

On Nov. 5, 22 children suffering from congenital heart disease from Lhoka Prefecture came to Hefei, capital city of Anhui Province with the accompany of their parents. They were accommodated to four hospitals including Anhui Provincial Hospital, Anhui Provincial Children’s Hospital, The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and The Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University for free treatment. It is the first time that Anhui Province shoulders the responsibility of giving medical treatment for Tibetan children with congenital heart disease since it started pairing aid to Lhoka Prefecture 11 years ago.
