Acutally, Tibetans don’t have the tradition of celebrating Mid-autumn Festival. Instead of it, they have an unique festival for family reunion-Evils Dispelling Festival on December 29 of Tibetan Calendar, on which day Tibetan families gather together to cleanse evils away and welcome the new year.
