Choeyang Kyi, the first Tibetan Olympian, won the silver medal of the 5-km race walk in the 9th China National University Games.
22-year-old Choeyang Kyi has etched her name into history as China's first Tibetan Olympic medalist, having secured a bronze medal in the women's 20-km race walk event held on Saturday at the London Summer Olympics.
This time, she got the second place of 5-km race walk at 20 min 42 sec 67, breaking the record of National University Games started from Sep 8, 2012.
Born in the Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, Choeyang said she was very proud to take part in the game and expressed her willingness to keep working hard.
