Curing Karma’s congenital heart disease

The charity project “For our children” held charity medical clinics in Gertse County of Ngari Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region on September 9, 2012.

Hearing the news, Karma Tsultrim and her mother Namche reached the county town for physical examination after 6-hour bumping from their village 200 kilometers away. The 5-year-old girl Karma is weak after birth and easy to have a fever, and after clinic she was diagnosed with atrial septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus.

Though diagnosed with congenital heart disease, little Karma still has the chance to live healthily as other children after receiving treatments. Staff of China Charity Federation decided to provide free treatments to her in Beijing soon. After hearing this inform, smiles appeared on Karma and mother’s faces.
