The first group of 15 Tibetan children with congenital heart disease arrive in Shanghai yesterday for free surgery as part of the city's cooperation program with Xigaze in the Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest China. Shanghai medical experts screened 120 kids with symptoms and picked 24 with congenital heart disease in Xigaze. The remaining nine will come to Shanghai for treatment later under the program, the Shanghai Health Bureau said.
