Free physical examination concludes in southeast Tibet

Free physical examination held by a Beijing hospital concluded in Lhoka Prefecture of Tibet.
The medical team is consisted of 16 medical staffs from Beijing Coal General Hospital, who provided free physical examination for the 299 households in Paldi Township, Nakartse County, Lhoka Prefecture, benefiting more than 1,600 local people.
In addition, health record was set for every local family, to screen diseases and improve medical service level and people’s health condition.
Li Dengqing, the leader of the hospital, called for further medical cooperation with Nakartse County to better serve for local people.
During the four-day volunteer activity, doctors from Beijing endured discomfort due to altitude reaction, and provided free medical examination and consultation to local peoples, covering Internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and electrocardiogram (ECG) as well as B-ultrasonography.
