Traditional consecration ritual procedures aiming for strengthening effects of Tibetan medicine were held in a Tibetan medicine factory during August 25 to 31, 2012. 27 senior pharmacists and apprentices from Tibet Autonomous Region took part in the procedures.
Tenzin Phuntsog, heritor of traditional Tibetan medicine processing technology and expert of Tibetan Traditional Pharmaceutical Medicine Factory presided over the whole procedure.
The ritual procedures are held every summer in the factory.

A cotton rope named “songta” runs through the whole place and is connected to the medicinal materials storage, to transmit the force of prayer, which needs to be looked after all the time.
