Tibetan children recover eyesight in inland

Two Tibetan children with eye disease received free surgery in Shandong Province and recovered their eyesight recently.

Shandong Provincial Hospital has organized a medical team and launched eyesight-recovery program for rural Tibetans with cataract in Shigatse Prefecture on Aug 13, 2012.

A total of 130 local residents took part in the program, received free surgery and recovered eyesight.

The two children patients from Shigatse Prefecture, China's Tibet Autonomous Region were sent for treatment in Jinan City, capital of Shandong Province.
