Tibet's non-public sector economy goes strong in market

Tibet's non-public sector economy has taken 94.22 percent of the whole market share with 101,500 market players participated by the end of 2010. It also created 335, 000 jobs and levied 4.02 billion yuan of tax payment, 82.9% of the total tax revenue, news from the press conference held by the Tibet Autonomous Region government on May, 27.

The private sector economy that has maintained strong momentum also made constant efforts in “Glory undertakings” such as charity, free-training, and so on. According to an official Sonam Rigzin with the Tibet’s government, "Project-Warm", a scheme aiming to provide occupational training to farmers and herders have been launched recently.

In 2008, non-stated owned enterprises in Tibet donated 9 million yuan to Sichuan Province after the terrifying earthquake, another plus to its total 516.5-billion-yuan donation to the whole society.

In the next 5 years, Tibet's private sector economy will get onto a high level of marketing and create more brands.
