According to Lhasa Statistic Bureau, the economy in Lhasa is in good status in the first quarter of year 2010.

The gross output value of husbandry, forestry and fishery industry reaches to 309 million yuan, added value reaches to 102 million yuan.

Lhasa completed 470 million yuan of gross industrial output value, up by 21.8% to the same period in last year.

The consumer market in Lhasa gains 2.2 billion yuan on gross retail sale, up by 17.3% to the same period in the last year. In the first quarter, tourism enterprises had served total 117,500 person-times of tourists from both home and abroad, up by 30% to the same period in the last year and achieved 122 million yuan of income, up by 26.62% to the same period in the last year. Foreign exchange income reached to 577,500 USD, up by 37.63% to the same period in the last year.

Lhasa completed 212 million yuan of fiscal revenue in the first quarter of 2010, up by 52.56% or 73.3 million yuan more than the same period in the last year. Tax revenue completed 190 million yuan, up by 40.86% or 55.23 million yuan more than the same period in the last year.
