In recent years, five projects of comprehensive agricultural-development zone have been implemented in Lhoka, including the areas of Kunga, Dranang, Nedong, Lhongzi and Nanggarze.

The municipal government has allocated 537 million Yuan (about $85 million) to accelerate local agriculture development with land management practices of 299.7 thousand acres of land, generating 81.21 million Yuan (about $13 million) income.

Due to the projects, the irrigation area in the comprehensive agriculture development zone has increased 130 thousand acres. And 120 thousand acres have been improved for cultivation.

The county's grain production has increased 14.72 million kilograms with 1.34 million kilograms rapeseeds and 65.03 million kilograms hays this year. The total value of agricultural output reached 869.8 thousand Yuan (about $139.3 thousand). The total income of farmers and herdsmen has been increased by 81.21 million Yuan (about $13 million).
