Sixty-two construction aiding projects in Tibet since 1990s

The 62 construction projects in Tibet were started from the middle of 1990s, owning the characteristics of big investment, multi-categories, wide distribution and large proportion of infrastructure and productive projects. Among them, there were 13 projects involving agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry and water conservancy, 17 energy projects, 6 industrial projects, 7 transportation, post and civil aviation projects, 12 cultural, educational, health and broadcast projects, as well as municipal construction and other projects.

All the projects have basically covered every county of the whole Tibet Autonomous Region. The central government set ground rule that most of the construction fund should be undertaken by the state, and the rest part would be given by the relative ministries and commissions as well as partner provinces, regions and cities.
