Shuangqu Village Tunnel, which is the first tunnel at 2 kilometers level of the Lhasa-Shigatse railway, runs 2,128 meters. And the railway linking Lhasa and Shigatse in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has been under construction as an extension line of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. It extends 253 kilometers, including 115.7 kilometers of bridges and tunnels.
