Up to now the Sanjiangyuan Nature Reserve Project has finished investment of 200 million yuan and 91 items for the project have kicked off, according to the Sanjiangyuan Office of Qinghai Province. This year 1.2 billion yuan will be put on the project.

Launched in 2005, the Sanjiangyuan Nature Reserve Project in southern Qinghai Province is the largest ecology protection project of China with 7.5 billion yuan from the central government as planned.
