The charming scenery of Nyangchu River Valley

A number of wetlands lie in the valley of the Nyangchu River in Shigatse Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR).

Categorized as the river wetlands and marsh wetlands, they are the main habitats in winter for some animals under state protection such as black-necked cranes and wild geese.
