On January 3rd, 2016, Gonpo Tashi inspected the rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts in Gyirong Village of Gyirong County. He asked people to follow the “One Belt, One Road” guidelines; use scientific planning methods while also paying attention to ethnic, regional, and border characteristics; prioritize waste and water disposal during the rebuilding, and protect Gyirong Creek in the process.
