Recently, the Tibet Solar Energy Exhibition Center opened to public in Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region, Xinhua reported.

Jointly established by the Tibet Autonomous Region Energy Research and Demonstration Center, Tibet New Energy Technology and Innovation Strategic Alliance, and Tibet Solar Energy Association, the center showcases many solar energy products suitable for Tibet.

In the last few years, Tibet has implemented many projects to promote solar energy development, such as the "Sunlight", "Light of Science", "Ngari Light and Electricity", "Electricity-Generation in Power-Less Regions", and "Golden Sun".
