BEIJING, Dec. 30(China Tibet Online)Themed with "An encounter with Tibet", the famous Chinese painter Zhao Xiaofei's Tibetan painting exhibition was inaugurated in Baima Metog Art Center of Beijing in Dec. 29, 2013.

The blowing prayer's flag, pure white holy mountains, old amiable lady and beautiful flowers in the paintings bring Beijing a breath of fresh Tibetan air. Many famous painters in China attended the opening ceremony.

Zhang Xiaofei is the dean of Nyingchi Art Academy of Tibet and is also a landscape designer. Owning the double identities, he has been knowing and interpreting Ti bet for years.

In 2007, Zhang visited Tibet for the first time as a landscape designer. During 2008 and 2009, he visited Tibet the second time to blend in with the local life style and culture, creating nearly 400 watercolor paintings about Tibet. He hopes to record and present the beauty of Tibet in his paintings.

The exhibition displays altogether 27 colorful ink paintings, through which the audience could not only enjoy the holy beauty of Tibet but also see the most real life of Tibetans.

The painting exhibition will last until Feb, 20, 2014.
