Verica, manager of the purchase department from the Jat Tehnika Airline Company in Serbia, was looking carefully at the paintings displayed at the 2nd "Beauty of Tibet" Painting Contest Exhibition held at the National Grand Theater for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

In front of The Light of Snow Area-1951, she looked at the painting with keen interest and whispered with her friends from time to time. Then she put on her glasses, leaned forward and put her face toward the English caption.

"This is the Potala Palace in China's Tibet, the landmark of Lhasa，and it is a holy land for Tibetans," said Verica to her friend.

Accompanied by her friends, Verica visited the exhibition at the National Grand Theater for the Performing Arts during her short stay in Beijing. It was really a surprise to her.

"Though I haven't been to Tibet, I have always been concerned about the place," said Verica. 

Working all year round in the airline company, Verica is full of curiosity for all parts of the world. "I have been to nearly half of the countries on earth and come to China frequently, thus I am interested in Chinese culture, especially the Tibetan culture."

"Magnificence, it is the very first word that comes to my mind when I remind Tibet. The place is awesome，" Verica made no secret of her praise and yearning for the holy place.
