Three hundred vendors from China, Nepal and India open stalls in the border trade market of Burang, southwest Tibet on July 11.

According to local authority, this year's market opens later than before due to the continuous storms which destroyed bridges to Nepal and India.

There are 13 regular vendors from India and 59 from Nepal with a total registered capital of 1.2m yuan(1950,000$) and over 170 mobile stall vendors with 14m yuan(2.28m$) in Burang, reported by Xinhua in 2011.

Burang is located at the south part of Ngari Prefecture and borders India and Nepal. It is also one of 12 border counties connecting with three countries in China and one important county for Sino-India and Sino-Nepal relations in politics, economy, culture and religion communication.

Tibet, which covers an area of more than 1.2 million square km, makes up one-sixth of China's territory and shares 3,842 km of borders with Burma, India, Bhutan, Sikkim and Nepal.
