"Beauty of Tibet" Exhibition art works in lens

The "Beauty of Tibet" Painting and Photography Exhibition 2013, China's first Tibet-themed art exhibition of its kind kicked off in Canberra, capital of Australia, on May 29.

Following a 2-day show in Canberra, the exhibition was opened in Sydney on May 31.

There are altogether 140 paintings and 140 photographs by contemporary Chinese artists and photographers were put on display.

These works show Tibet's natural beauty and cultural landscape, reflecting its rapid economic development and harmonious environment.
