Female delegates increase at Tibet annual conference

The 1st session of the 10th Tibet People's Political Consultative Conference was held in the People's Hall in Lhasa at 3:40 p.m on Jan 22, 2013.

Among all the representatives, there are 130 female delegates, accounting for 21.2 percent of the total, 0.9 percent increasing from last year.

The first plenary session of the 10th Tibetan People's Political Consultative Conference and the 10th Tibet People's Congress are opened respectively on Jan 22 and Jan 24, 2013.

In this political arena of the two sessions, they actively perform their duties and participate into politics.
