For the first time, China’s top 10 thangka masters including TenpaRaodan, Kelsang Tseten, Yandeng Tsering will co-create a thangka themed ten subjects of Tibetan culture, which is the first in the history of thangka painting.

"Ten subjects” refers to Sanskrit linguistics, quantity theory, technology, Tibetan medicine, Buddhism, astrology, rhetoric, metrics, phraseology study, and drama, which represent the essence of traditional Tibetan culture and art. On March 27, the ten masters chose their painting subject through drawing lots.

The painting is expected to be completed in eight months. Afterwards, it will be exhibited at home and abroad.
