Tibet boasts 808 Tibetan and Chinese bilingual judges

A total of 808 Tibetan and Chinese bilingual judges are now in Tibet, accounting for 61.6 percent of all in the region, according to information from the Tibet branch of National Judges College.  

In 2016, Tibet invested over 750 thousand yuan in training Tibetan and Chinese bilingual judges. Five training classes were held and trainees totaled about 324.       

Since 2016, Tibet has integrated legal language translation application with trial skills in training bilingual judges.  

The training also took various activities to improve the efficacy of training through giving award to excellent judicial adjudicative documents, bilingual moot court exercise and on-site observations.
