2016 Tibet outdoor whistling arrow competition held in Nyingchi

The third Tibet outdoor whistling arrow competition held in Nyingchi Stadium of Tibet on Oct. 31. A total of 90 shooters, who were divided into 9 groups, attended the contest. 

Whistling arrow competition is one of the essential competitive or recreational activities for people in southeast Tibet to celebrate the bumper harvest or greet the New Year and other important festivals. Whistling arrow brings enjoyment to participators because they could hear a pleasant sound when it is flying in the air to the target.
