The 6th “Qomolangma Literature and Art Awards” presentation ceremony was held in Lhasa on Jan. 24, China Tibet News reported.

The large-scale suite of songs “Polar Region Singing the Chinese Dream”, large play “Princess Wencheng”, and ink painting by Artist Han Shuli won Special Awards. Another 14 pieces of works received the Outstanding Awards, 15 won Honorable Mentions.

Established in 1993, the “Qomolangma Literature and Art Awards” is a provincial-level awards aims to reward achievements in the fields of literature and art in Tibet. It has given awards to many works with distinctive Tibetan features, imprint of the times, and favored by readers, meanwhile it has also cultivated a great number of outstanding literature and art talents.
