Tibet and Buddhist wisdom in ink paintings
The first exhibition of the “Quan Yingsheng Ink Painting Tour” is to open at 3:00 pm on June 10 at the Beijing 798 Pema Medog Art Center.
Artworks on the exhibition are divided into three themes: the Little Zen Monk series, Chinese Thriller Original Ink, and the Ink Tibet series. More than 80 exquisite ink paintings will be on display during the exhibition.

Quan Yingsheng is a member of the Chinese Artists Association. His works span multi-fields, including ink, film and television, games, cartoons, and manga. He has previously won the “Chinese Government Award for Art and Culture”, the highest award of its kind within the country.

Master Juexing, vice-president of the Chinese Buddhist Association and abbot of the Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple, commented, “through the ‘Little Zen Monk’ series, Quan Yingsheng uses ink painting to promote Zen culture and childlike innocence to convey profound Buddhist wisdom.”
