Photos: Tibet's 1st Private Museum (I)
The Chojor Ancient Weapons Museum, the first private museum in Tibet Autonomous Region, opened on Jul. 3, 2015. The museum, featuring ancient weapons and cultural relics, plays a significant role in promoting local tourism development and cultural protection and inheritance. A total of 1,613 items are put on display, which fall into seven categories - pottery, bronze ware, ethnic costumes, everyday items, religious culture, revolutionary relics, and ancient weapons. It is worthnoting that the museum has housed the Tibetan painted potteries in 27 kinds of colors and different traditional costumes from seven cities and prefectures. [Photo/China Tibet Online]
