World's largest Chinese painting debuts in Lhasa

Tibet Autonomous Region's capital city Lhasa hosted an exhibition that features the world's largest Chinese painting on Nov. 20, according to Lhasa Information Office.
The master work, titled as "Chinese Dream, Tibet Trip, Gorgeous Tibet", is 123-meter-long and three-meter-high. It tooks four years for Chen Dingkun and 20 other artists to complete the painting.
The exhibition lasts for four days and is free for art lovers and the general public to visit.
According to Chen Dingkun, head of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the painting highlights the images of the Potala Palace and President Xi Jinping surrounded by a large crowd of people representing different regional ethnic groups.
Meanwhile, it depicts not only the magnificence of nature and the grandeur of Tibetan culture. but also the historical development and reality of Tibet from different aspects. Furthermore, the industriousness, brave personality and happy life of local Tibetan people are also prominent across the work.
After the completion of the first exhibition in Lhasa, exhibition will continue in Beijing, Shanghai and other provincial capitals.
