The local government of Tibet has recently formulated a scientific development plan for five villages listed among China’s traditional villages, Tibet Daily reported.

A total of six villages in Tibet were added on the Traditional Village List of China by the ministry of culture, finance as well as housing and urban-rural development in May 2013. They are Tsogo Village of Nyingchi Prefecture, Tsakhalho Village and Junyong Village of Qamdo Prefecture, Trinkhang Village of Lhasa City, as well as Shangru Village and Bangshing Village of Shigatse Prefecture.
