The Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee sent a delegation to Mongolia, South Korea and Japan to promote the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress from Sunday to November 26.

A statement the Party School sent to the Global Times on Monday said the delegation is visiting Mongolia from Sunday to Tuesday.

On Monday, He Yiting, executive vice president of the school and delegation head, met with Mongolia's senior government and party officials, the statement said.

The delegation has introduced the achievements, content, and significance of the 19th national Party congress to the Mongolian parliament, political parties, government, business circles, mainstream media and think tanks, it added.

After the 18th national Party congress, the CPC gained confidence in engaging in exchanges with foreign parties, including those in non-communist countries, said Su Wei, a professor at the Party school of the Chongqing Municipal Committee.

After the 19th national Party congress, overseas exchanges between parties will become broader and deeper, he added.

"This is not only based on the CPC's need of publicity, but also for other countries who are also eager to know about China and the CPC's stance and experiences. Thanks to our successes in the past decades, developing and socialist countries have a strong desire to learn China's experiences in modernization," Su told the Global Times.

During the meetings, the Mongolian side hailed the 19th CPC National Congress for concluding successfully and Xi Jinping for being re-elected as general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, adding that it values the opening-up policy and historic achievements of China's modernization, the statement said.

The Mongolian side also said they are willing to push for the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership.

The work report that Xi delivered to the 19th National Congress of the CPC said that the CPC "strives for both the well-being of the Chinese people and human progress. To make new and greater contributions for mankind is our Party's abiding mission."

Through the publicity for the Party congress and China's political system, the CPC is providing a new path for socialist and developing countries to achieve modernization, since Westernization doesn't work well in many developing countries, and this is the CPC's contribution to mankind, Su said.

"Aside from developing countries, developed countries like Japan and South Korea likewise wish to learn from the CPC national congress because it's closely related to China's economic success and valuable experience in governance," said Da Zhigang, director of the Heilongjiang Academy of Social Sciences' Institute of Northeast Asian Studies.

"We used to learn from capitalist countries, but in the new era, the situation has become more about mutual-learning," Da added.
