U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the implementation of the Iranian nuclear deal will take place likely in the coming days.
"Implementation day, which is the day on which Iran proves that it has sufficiently downsized its nuclear program and can begin to receive sanctions relief, is going to take place very soon, likely within the next coming days somewhere."
This comes as the top U.S. diplomat was informed by the Iranian side that the core of the Arak nuclear reactor had been taken out, and will soon be destroyed.
Kerry also revealed that all of the enriched material in Iran had been put on a ship and taken out to Russia for processing.
He adds that the International Atomic Energy Agency will build up its capacity to inspect any suspicious activity that violates the nuclear deal.
The historical deal on the controversial Iranian nuclear program was reached last July after prolonged diplomatic negotiations.
