Travel with belief: Muslims fast on Qinghai-Tibet Railway
Ma Shemu finishes praying and sticks strictly to the Ramadan traditions on the train Z917 from Lanzhou capital city of NW China's Gansu Province to Lhasa, capital of SW China's Tibet Autonomous Region. There were 787 passengers on the train, some of them are Tibetan devotees on the pilgrim trip to Tibet, some are like Ma Shewu visiting friends and relatives in Tibet, or Muslims doing business in Tibet.
